Ramiro Ibanez and Willy Pérez are a talented duo producing one of the region's great white wines. Macharnudo San Cayetano 2024 has limestone and mineral notes. Freshness, concentration and salinity make this a vibrant wine.
A bone-dry 'non-fortified Xeres' that is well worth your time. Citrus, wax, grilled almonds, lime zest, oyster shell, particularly high salinity in this vintage, along with fragrant toasted spice. As always this is an unusual, standout wine with a ton of personality, from owners and winemakers Willy Perez and Ramiro Ibanez.
