Decanter Magazine lists Henri Magnien (now run by grandson Charles) as one of the top 25 domaines to watch - which was also backed up by glowing reports from Jasper Morris MW. Although small at 6 hectares they have some very good holdings and the family have been making wine in Burgundy since 1656. There is even an ancient pinot clone “Pinot Magnien” surviving in their vineyards.

Charles is extremely enthusiastic, a perfectionist and very excited about his new wine making facility with recently acquired top-quality stainless-steel vats and barrel hall.
