Pinot noir wine from the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, Cote-de-Nuits, Bourgogne, France

Elegant, complex and well-structured.

The domaine is located in the centre of Gevrey-Chambertin with nine crus produced from a total vineyard area of 8.35 hectares.
Formerly known as Domaine Alain Burguet, it is now led by son Jean-Luc (he acquired his brother Eric’s holdings) in 2011. They converted to fully organic farming and acquired further vineyards which were previously owned by their grandfather and which are now added to the Bourgogne PinceVin and Mes Favorites blends.

Average vine age is over 65 years.  Vinification is made with  100% destemmed berries. All processes are carried out by hand and naturally in the vineyard and winery with minimal intervention. Natural yeasts are used. The wines are aged for 16-18 months in 20-40% new barrels with minimal SO2 and no fining or filtration.
