The domaine is located in the centre of Volnay and has been in the family for more than 200 years. In total it has vineyard holdings of 15 hectares which are mostly located around Volnay, predominantly at premier cru level, enhanced with a hectare of premier cru Meursault.

Guillaume d'Angerville is the current Marquis having taken over in 2003, and he runs the domaine with his brother-in-law Renaud. Guillaume’s daughter Margot is now working alonsider her father, bringing the vineyard onto the next generation.
Only 20% new oak is used for ageing of between 15 and 18 months with minimal fining and filtration. The result is wines that are beautifully balanced, long, and they age extremely well.
