his is the dry white wine of Mouton Rothschild that has been produced in small quantities since the first vintage in 1991.

63% Sauvignon Blanc, 7% Sauvignon Gris, 29% Sémillon, 1% Muscadelle

A serious Aile d'Argent with sliced green mangoes, pears and green apples. Full-bodied. Framed with phenolics and minerals. Complex and real. A touch of flint and cedar at the end. Super finish.  96-97 James Suckling.

Fragrant, floral and full of fruity aromas on the nose - grassy too, with elderflower, crisp green apple and peach. Lively and tangy, this has acidity and a certain weight that kicks in almost straight away but is perfectly matched to ripe, just-fleshy apple and white plum fruit with a clean, very clear salty ending. It’s a little subdued after the initial burst of flavour, but there’s something really quite delicate and finessed about this. Cool and fresh. Lovely. Earliest ever harvest. No malolactic fermentation.  96 Georgina Hindle, Decanter

The 2025 Aile d’Argent is potent and deep. The blend is Sauvignon Blanc-based, but that is not especially evident in the early going. Citrus confit, white flowers, mint and chalk open with a bit of time in the glass. The team, led by Technical Director Jean-Emmanuel Danjoy, opted for a bit more bâtonnage to compensate for the early harvest, a choice that paid off handsomely. The 2025 is a serious Aile d’Argent for the dinner table. 2028-2037. 91-93 Antonio Galloni, vinous.
