From a 2.2 ha parcel at the bottom section of the vineyard; even so, the vineyard is so steep here that it must be worked entirely by hand as tractors would be dangerous to use.

Classic Chablis nuances of iodine, quinine, mineral reduction, oyster shell and lemon-lime add impressive breadth to the mostly white orchard fruit scents. Once again the palate impression of the super-sleek and intense large-scaled flavours is borderline thick while displaying superb power and drive on the youthfully austere and beautifully balanced finale.
This is breathtakingly good.
94-97 Allen Meadows, Burghound

6 hl/ha. A pure and glowing lemon yellow. The precision of the bouquet is impressive, with a slight marine reduction. Fine boned yet with backbone. There is significant energy behind, this has absolutely retained the style of the vineyard, less intense than some years but exceptionally fine. Drink from 2029-2035.
