Another of the would-be grand crus - Rugiens sits just a bit higher up
on the Volnay side.
Just a little deeper in crimson colour. Once again, the nose shows a remarkably pure quality of fruit playing with its pepper. Raspberry notes, more fruit than pepper, while clearly longer elevage will be necessary here. Then there will be something really very interesting to show! Drink from 2030-2036.
