Planted 1956-1971. The Aligoté is the last plot to harvest.

All the grapes from the commune of Puligny – 2 parcels of older vines across the road. A fresh and inviting nose – getting better and better with air. Hmm, there’s some generosity of flavour here, silkiness too. Stricter finishing – that’s nice – and it’s long too. Excellent aligoté.
Bill Nanson, Burgundy Report.

Pale lemon, immediate sense of reduction plus tangy apple notes from the grape type. Significant tension on the palate, almost more 2022 in style save for the wealth of fruit behind. This was mostly in tank, with 20% barrel. That works well for me. Drink from 2026-2029. Tasted Oct 2024.
**** 87-88 Jasper Morris MW.

Pale, clear greeny-gold. Citrusy nose, a little floral with white spice. 2/3 tank to 1/3 barrel. Aged on fine lees. Nice gourmand mouthfeel. Lovley richness mid-palate. Last plot to be harvested because of its good acidity. Low yields.
