Mid crimson purple. The nose takes a minute to emerge, a bit tough at first but with a great deal going on underneath, a wealth of harmonious deep red fruit with an interesting floral aspect. Waves of fruit cross the palate, and the tannins are much finer. Really very long indeed. 3 barrels made. Drink from 2032-2040.
