Racked to tank in October, to bottle in December. Deep purple. The bouquet is certainly a rich expression of pinot fruit without being over-ripe. Very full on the palate yet with energy through adequate acidity. Excellent balance and persistence. A fresh classic. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted Nov 2024.

This is also moderately reduced. The super-sleek if not especially dense medium weight flavours possess both good energy and precision as well as a subtle bead of minerality that adds interest to the youthfully austere but not really rustic finale.
89-92 Burghound.
A narrow but deep nose - more cushioned in style at the base. The palate is linear, also you could say slightly strict vs the previous wines - with a chiselled structure but without anything scary from the tannins. I could drink it with pleasure today but it will also be great in 25 years too.
