Pungent aromas of wood and reduction give way to bigger yet more seductively textured medium weight flavours that possess a lovely mouthfeel, all wrapped in a bitter pit fruit-inflected finish that is also serious, compact and long. Outstanding. 90-92 Burghound.

Glowing purple. There is some class to the mixed red and dark berry fruit on the nose. Darker fruit behind, good acidity, not quite so complete, as the Grasses Têtes, sitting back a bit, maybe to bound forwards later on. Drink from 2027-2030. *** 88-90 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy.

The 2023 Marsannay Les Longeroies mingles aromas of raspberries and cherries with hints of mint and peony. Medium-bodied, lively and concentrated, with powdery tannins and a sapid finish, it's a lovely wine in the making. 90-92 William Kelley, Wine Advocate.

The 2023 Marsannay Les Longeroies is one of the hidden gems of the range, very well defined with a mixture of vibrant red and black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit - a real expression of Pinot Noir, with a precise and persistent finish. Excellent. 91-93 Neal Martin.
