Situated just below Maizieres.

A darker ruby, with an engaging deep cherry and raspberry fruit, with an excellent backbone. A glossy feeling throughout while the whole bunches both lift the finish and bring some wild strawberries into play. Drink from 2028-2033.

The super-fresh and attractively airy nose reflects notes of the essence of red cherry that is cut with a plenitude of spice and floral wisps. The delicious, vibrant and appealingly textured, if not especially dense, flavours possess both fine length and precision on the mildly youthfully austere finale. This is lovely and I like the balance.
