For the first time Les Loachausses on its own. A medium ruby purple. The nose is very engaging, strawberry and raspberry. While the same fruit continuing on the palate could be just a little simple, there is enough grip to make this not the case, and the return of the whole bunch feel, adds structure as well as lifting the finish. A fractional coffee note at the very end complexifies the long finish. Drink from 2031-2038.

An exuberantly spicy and exceptionally floral-suffused nose is composed of mostly ripe red cherry and exotic tea scents. Once again the middle weight flavours possess a positively gorgeous mouthfeel even though the mid-palate is not particularly dense. There is good balance and excellent length and while this could use better overall depth, the potential aging curve is such that it should only be a matter of time.
