Light gold in appearance. The nose is expressive and layered, opening with aromas of fresh apricot, quince, dried pineapple and persimmon, lifted by fig preserve, elderflower and a touch of salted caramel. Subtle spice weaves through the bouquet, adding depth and intrigue. The palate is vibrant yet refined, revealing flavours of peach, nectarine, dried mango and litchi. A refreshing salinity and finely integrated oak bring poise and balance, while the texture is both elegant and complex. The wine concludes with a long, dry and delicately spiced finish, a memorable expression of Vin de Constance, forged by fire and sculpted by time. Domaine notes.

Power and precision in the flavours, a touch of tar, rosebuds, pink grapefruit, preserved citrus, star anise, just a ton of flavour and character and grip, it stretches out through the palate, peach pit, with energy and power. Just such a consistently great wine. Matthew Day winemaker.
