The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Bel-Air 1er Cru needs a little more cohesion on the nose: red plum and cranberry scents, loam and truffles. It just needs to knit together. The palate is better, with a neatly structured entry, well-judged acidity, and gentle but insistent grip, finishing with a dash of black pepper.
