The 2021 Savigny-lés-Beaune Les Lavières 1er Cru has an attractive nose with light cranberry, raspberry and briary scents. There's a fine definition, if not huge intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, a crisp line of acidity and a gentle grip toward the citrus-fresh finish. This works better than the Chorey-lés-Beaune. 88-90 Neal Martin, Vinous.
