Les Chenevottes 1er Cru is one of their smallest crus. Fine and supple wines from a relatively flat and cool vineyard site.
The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Chenevottes 1er Cru is the smallest cuvée of just two barrels. It has an attractive nose with citrus fruit and almond notes and a light white chocolate scent unfolding nicely in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. The wood is more prominent toward the finish, so afford it two or three years to fully integrate. 91 Neal Martin, Vinous (2024).
