The premier cru that is pretty-well regarded as a grand cru - if ever there was a reclassification in Pommard.
Ruby colour. A little closed on the nose. Some cherry there. Juicy attack, floral, cherries, mineral. More grabby texturally, bigger. Built for ageing.

100% whole bunch vinification. Made in two new barrels, one slightly older and a 400-litre ceramic Clayver, all now assembled. A little deeper crimson. The stems give a dry finish after the wild crushed strawberries, less sweet fruit than those cuvees with a lower proportion of stems. Quite structured but I think this will all come together. Drink from 2032-2038.
