Pinot Gris

The lightly spicy and aromatic grape thought to be a mutant clone of Pinot Noir. Pinky grey skins give it its name. One of the main wines grown in Alsace (alongside Gerwurztraminer and Riesling) and known as Pinot-Grigio in Italy where it is made in a lighter style.
