This famous Pomerol Chateau is on the plateau and planted with 100% Merlot. It has been farmed and managed since 1962 by J-P Moueix.
The 2025 Latour à Pomerol is lovely, offering up aromas of cherries and sweet berry fruit complemented by hints of petals and spices. Medium- to full-bodied, polished and suave, it's deep and seamless, with ripe tannins, bright fruit flavors and a long, penetrating finish. This stands out as one of this estate's finest vintages in recent years. 93-95 William Kelley, Wine Advocate.
The 2025 Latour à Pomerol is a dense, heady Pomerol. Super-ripe red fruit, mocha, spice, saddle leather and dried flowers flesh out in the glass. Soft curves frame succulent fruit through the pliant mid-palate and into the resonant finish. Latour à Pomerol is quite delicious. 2033-2055. 91-93 Antonio Galloni, vinous.
