 Volnay Clos de Verseuil 1er Cru is one of the most mineral-driven cuvées from Clerget.

The 2024 Volnay Clos de Verseuil 1er Cru was the first to be picked and also the first to include 40-50% whole bunch. The stems are disguised on the nose and allow the terroir to come through. Well defined and focused, this conveys a sense of energy. The palate is well balanced with good weight and concentration, perhaps the best of Clerget's 2024s as it fans out with confidence on the finish. Superb.
