1.78 for the total cru, and here they have 1.08. Vines between the woods above and Echézeaux, below – this is north-south planted which helps catch the early morning sun in this later-ripening place.
Darker, cushioned, wider fruit – more impressive at the depth. Ultra-silky again, a certain cushion to the concentrated flavours, some additional complexity, but no flavours of overt barrel. A little more mineral and narrower in the finish, but not a bit shorter.
