Mid lemon yellow. This is thoroughly opulent, with some tropical fruits, more exotic than peaches. But it is really a lovely wine with also a vibrant energy. The style takes it away from Chassagne typicity, but as long as you know what to expect. Mandarins and kumquat even, plus some yellow peaches too. Very long finish. Drink from 2029-2035.
**** 92-95 Jasper Morris MW

The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Tête du Clos 1er Cru has quite a generous bouquet with apricot and light yellow plum scents that unfold in the glass and end up being very generous and enticing. The palate is very well balanced on the entry, a little viscous in texture, fine acidity, moving towards lychee and white peaches towards the finish (Leroux said this is a recent phenomenon). Quite sensual.
