2022, La Chablisienne, CHABLIS, 'Les Vénérables'

Fresh, cool and equally airy aromas include those of iodine, sea breeze and an array of citrus elements. I very much like the texture of the delicious and nicely concentrated medium weight flavours with the balanced and lengthy finale. This is almost always La Chablisiènne's best villages-level wine and so it is again in 2022; indeed it's really quite pretty and worth checking out, especially if you're going to hold it for a few years. A more structural impression from this nose – fine clarity. More scale and architecture to this wine - clean, and with good intensity
and a small finishing tannin – wait a couple of years for it – it’s excellent.
