The 1er cru Les Chenevottes is located near the prestigious Montrachet. This climat must have been a chenevière at the time it was named. It was a field where hemp was grown. 37 yr old vines.
A lovely pale yellow colour with golden highlights, this wine has an intense bouquet of honeysuckle and apricots, with toasty notes. On the palate, the wine is fresh, with a lovely velvety texture and brioche flavours. Domaine notes.
Lemon-sherbet nose. Some sweetness on the front palate. They somehow seem to have got their grapes very ripe! Very pure; you'd never know this was a disease-prone vintage. 17 Jancis Robinson.
