Bio here since 1986, which allows us to achieve a maturity of fruit that we didn’t have before. The word ‘Digoine’ is an old one celebrating the quality of the water in a place.

The energy of this wine comes from the quality and singularity of its terroir. The water that nourishes the underground world of La Digoine allows the vine to relax, making its aromatic expression very fluid and offering a bouquet balanced between dark fruits, tannins, and a communicative energy-this wine’s distinctive signature.

A distinctly cool nose derives more from the dark side of the fruit spectrum with its aromas of both red and dark currant, anise, violet and a whiff of earth. The richer and more voluminous medium weight flavours possess evident power that carries over to the rustic, dusty and moderately austere finish that is slightly more structured.
