Cocoro Restaurant - 8 courses and 8 wines for only $220 per person
Wednesday 8th May 2019
Cocoro (Cuisine 2018 Restaurant of the Year) means 'the heart and soul' in Japanese. Chef and owner Makoto Tokuyama explains: “I became a chef because I love to eat, to drink, to meet people and most importantly to see people become happy through these things,” said Tokuyama. “I go to the market every morning to ensure the quality of my food that goes out to customers. But most importantly, I am always in the kitchen of my restaurant.”
We feel the philosophy of Cocoro is a great fit. The team at PMFW have carefully chosen 4 Whites, 3 Reds and 1 Sauternes, paired with 8 courses. This is a fantastic chance to try some hard-to-get (and not to mention very delicious) wine, in an elegant and contemporary setting: Enjoy some Champagne with the daily market fish, Cocoro’s signature ‘fish ’n’ chips’ with Chablis, and sashimi with the Puligny-Montrachet...
