Once again there is admirable elegance to the pure and airy nose of plum, violet and wet stone nuances. The ultra-fine but punchy medium weight flavours possess a highly sophisticated mouthfeel while displaying a taut muscularity on the sappy, mineral-driven and hugely long finish. This is a knockout. Sweet Spot Outstanding. 92-94 Burghound. 

Purple with a dark centre, always the deepest coloured wine. This comes from the upper part, with some grèzes litées and no clay. Planting in part in 1914, 1932 and 1940s. Tiny berries with thick skins. Tiny little balls of pinot caviar, you can feel the intensity in the black fruit. Drink from 2031-2039. **** 92-94 Jasper Morris.
