The 2022 Meursault Les Charmes-Dessus 1er Cru has a fragrant, more floral bouquet laced with orange zest and touches of apricot. The palate is well-balanced with a slightly creamier texture, ripe citrus fruit and a waxy-textured finish displaying plenty of extract. Excellent. 92-94 Neal Martin, Vinous (2023).

This wine has just been racked off all the lees. Fresh pale lemon. This is one of the more refined and stylish Charmes, and then on the palate you see the weight associated with this vineyard. Some lemon infusion at the back, to refresh this positive and powerful wine. Very long aftertaste. **** 93-96 Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy (2023).
