Pale lemon/lime colour. Absolutely lovely. Gorgeous aromas, soft limestone, honeysuckle and white peach. Slightly floral. Smooth, creamy texture with balanced minerality. Long, lemon-zing finish. Jo Charvill, May 2025.
The 2022 Chablis Montmains 1er Cru has a basalt-scented bouquet. It's taut, linear, fresh and quite marine-influenced. The palate is well-balanced, with a rich entry and a low-acid Montmains that consequently just lacks some delineation and tension on the finish.
