The 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté has a fairly uncomplicated bouquet, quite primal, with peach skin and grapefruit touches. The palate is quite strict at first, but opens nicely with a finish that oddly reminds me of one of Eben Sadie's Old Vine Series cuvées. With more texture than obvious flavours, this Aligoté is discrete and needs to come out of its shell. 86 Neal Martin, Vinous (2023).
