Multiple parcels (Les Millerands, En Monatine, Les Herbeux, Les Malpoiriers) with clay-limestone soils. Certified organic and biodynamic. A delicious baby Meursault!
Mid lemon yellow. Something a touch earthy on the nose but plenty of fruit volume behind, indeed surprising density and very good acidity. Definite mini-Meursault territory. Mix of very good terroirs and it shows. **** 89-91 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy.
The 2023 Bourgogne Côte d'Or Blanc, taken from barrel, sprints out of the blocks on the nose with lime and clementine. This has good concentration. The palate is quite phenolic on the entry, overtly spicy with veins of stem ginger and finishes quite powerful and sustained. Very fine. 88 Neal Martin, Vinous.
Sweet citrus aroma. Really lovely fruit but balanced by excellent acidity. Deep and harmonious. Very good for a Bourgogne Côte d'Or. 16/20 Julia Hardin MW.
A fine and precise nose - that's a lovely invitation. Broad, melting - here's concentration here - what a delicious wine. Bill Nanson, Burgundy Report.
