Château Palmer 2015 shows a very deep crimson colour. From the very first moment, the intensity of the nose acknowledges the outstanding quality of the vintage. Black fruit aromas mingle nicely with precious notes of spices. Its luxurious mouth embraces the palate instantly and gives a very unique dimension to this wine which will, without a doubt, be remembered in the property’s history. Domaine notes.
The 2015 Palmer is a wine of total refinement and class. All the elements are wonderfully meshed together, as they always have been from the very start. Dark black cherry, plum, mocha, liquorice, spice and leather notes are all seamless in the glass. The tannins are present, but they are silky and pretty much buried by the sheer luxuriousness of the fruit. Palmer is one of the most complete and harmonious wines of 2015. This is a brilliant effort from Thomas Duroux and his team.

The 2015 Palmer has an opulent, high-toned bouquet with blackberry, raspberry and cassis fruit. This is typical Palmer in many ways. The palate is medium-bodied with a silky texture, stunning balance and poise with white pepper-tinged black fruit, gentle grip and a very persistent and satisfying finish. Bon vin! 2026-2055.

Silky, ethereal and touches of cinnamon. At this point Palmer was certified biodynamic and lowering the use of sulphur, and it’s hard not to make the link with the complex array of aromatics and flavours that are released in the glass here. There is a clear sweetness to the fruit – damson, blackberry, black cherry – along with a slate contraction in the texture. All those words used to express wine really come to life here: you feel the depth and intensity but it takes off, moving upwards through the palate and it’s hard not to be seduced by the entire experience. 2023-2045.
