2022, Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret, ECHEZEAUX, Grand Cru

A large vineyard area of grand cru of which Echezeaux du Dessus is the favoured spot - where the majority of Mongeard-Mugneret vines are situated. The oldest vines have now been separated into the cuvée below (Grande Complication) - but the age and quality is still very high here.

A less forward nose – more subtle but of pretty width today and there’s a faint floral complexity. Hmm, that’s fine in the mouth – concentrated of course, but here with the fluidity of a great wine. A finish that washes over the palate, widening impressively – always a little subtle and elegant in style but really delicious!!
