"Interesting to encounter a rosé with this much personality and capacity to age." - Jancis Robinson

Copper-pink in colour and intensely aromatic with resonating red berries. The palate is fruity, cool and mouth-filling. There are hints of spice and smoke with a slight herbaceous bitterness on the finish. This rosé was created to go with food. The fruit-acid balance and the fuller body with a touch of tannin makes it friendly to dishes from all seasons such as smoked anchovies, ratatouille and a festive turkey or salmon.

Quite soft and gentle on the palate with no shortage of fruit and flavour but this is drier, more interesting and food-friendly than many rosés. Fruit-acid balance just right and the acid tastes natural. No desperate hurry to drink this. It has a smidgeon of tannin. 16.5/20 Jancis Robinson.

The 2023 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Séguret Soubois Rosé is a medium ruby-hued blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah that was brought up in demi-muids. Spiced cherries, flowers, and some dried herb notes all define the aromatics, and it’s medium-bodied, with nicely integrated background oak and a clean, dry finish. It’s geared for the dinner table. 89/100 Jeb Dunnuck.
