The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru contains two-thirds whole bunches, which guides the nose at the moment, though it is simpatico with the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a supple entry, a fine bead of acidity, gentle grip and more dark berry fruit laced with black tea on the finish. Very fine. 91-93 Neal Martin, Vinous (2023).

Only three barrels made. Bright fresh refined purple. The nose has a dancing elegance, with its mineral traces that run through the palate. Super elegance, very nuanced, yet with an energy that builds behind. Shows some new oak which will be easily digested. A lovely finish, almost ethereal. **** 93-95 Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy (2023).
