Chablisienne's introductory Chablis collected across various villages vineyards but still with an average vine age of 20 yrs - Fresh and elegant on the palate with beautifully fleshy citrus and light acidity on a mineral framework.
A more serious, intellectual wine than the 'straight' Chablisienne Chablis. Acidity is more pronounced and the nose is more strident. A Chablis that will be very good but which needs another year in bottle to fully integrate and balance the high acidity. Lots of potential and great purity of flavour - just needs more time. 92 Andy Howard MW, Decanter.
