The 2022 Plince is dark, supple and quite engaging. Black cherry, plum, licorice, menthol, spice and leather all flesh out. The ripeness of the year is evident in the wine's profile, but this is an en primeur sample. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. 91-93 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.
Aromas of sweet cassis and toasty new oak introduce the 2022 Plince, a medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy wine that concludes with a vanillin-inflected finish. 88-90 William Kelley, Wine Advocate.
