2018, Domaine du Pélican, Savagnin, 'Macération Pelliculaire'

The 2018 Savagnin Macération Pélliculaire is outrageously beautiful. A short time of maceration on the skins give its tannins and overall, structure. More like a red wine. Candied orange peel, hazelnut, sage, mint, liquorice and dried flowers are some of the many notes that infuse the 2018 with layers of depth. The 2018 is a showstopper. There is also an orange wine. The skin-contact 2018 Arbois Savagnin Macération Pelliculaire is a golden coloured and exotic white with notes of mango and papaya notes.
