2021, Domaine Montrose, Rosé 1701, LANGUEDOC

$50

It's not everyday a blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Roussanne comes across the desk, but Domaine Montrose's 2021 IGP Cotes de Thongue Rose 1701 is a pale, coppery rosé that shows a bit more weight and texture than most of its peers. Subdued notes of honey, peach, strawberry and citrus appear on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is round and ripe, yet retains great freshness and drive through the crisp finish. 90 Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate.
