Séguier calls this their “\u003cstrong\u003ebaby grand cru\u003c\/strong\u003e” as specific barrels are selected for vine age, concentration and power.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn much the same fashion as the Montmains, the nose makes clear that t\u003cstrong\u003ehis could only be from Chablis \u003c\/strong\u003ewith its nose of quinine, petrol, mineral reduction, tidal pool and oyster shell. There is outstanding volume, mid-palate density and power to the beautifully textured medium weight plus flavours that deliver \u003cstrong\u003eexcellent depth and persistence\u003c\/strong\u003e. This is arguably a bit less refined than it usually is but it's also notably more concentrated and powerful. Less honeysuckle, more a softer white fruit on the nose. \u003cstrong\u003eLots of energy on the palate\u003c\/strong\u003e though, again slightly softer in style, with some ripe lemons, then fills out the finish quite nicely.
