Bordeaux Blend: Sauvignon Gris, Sauvignon Blanc.

Varietal nose, fully Sauvignon Blanc with green apple, elderflower and some lemon balm touches. Racy and alive, lean and steely but with sweet lemon sherbet, ripe apple and even some pineapple as well as small touches of orange bitterness. Great energy and focus and enjoyable peach fleshiness too - this is a really good wine. Juicy and succulent, the ripe fruit suggests a warm vintage, but there's plenty of cool and fresh elements too with no underripe accents. Already bottled. 3.12pH. 93 Georgina Hindle, Decanter (2024).

The 2023 Puygueraud Blanc is very pretty in this vintage. Crushed flowers, mint, lemon peel, white pepper and lime are all beautifully lifted. This airy, crisp dry white is a fine choice for drinking now and over the next few years. It’s very nicely done. Tasted four times. 91 Antonio Galloni, Vinous (2024).

A blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 21% Sauvignon Gris, the 2023 Puygueraud Blanc reveals a fresh, slightly varietal bouquet of citrus, herbs, spring flowers and green apple, followed by a moderately weighted, bright and tangy palate that culminates in a lemony and spicy finish. 87-89 Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate (2024).

Drinking Window: 2024 - 2033
