(Has the Château's oldest vines, some planted in 1929). Le Clos has 3 hectares, on limestone, marl and clay.
Pale gold colour. Nose is a little shy, with hints of sucre. An elegant chardonnay, this is very mineral and lean on the palate, 70-80% aged in 3 year + . Still to soften as very young. I expect this will fill out with lovely developed arounds and be very enjoyable drinking with another year or two of agening. Long lived.
