As usual, it's a blend of lieux-dits Les Forges, Les Pellans and Les Chaumes de Narvaux. 90-92 William Kelley, Wine Advocate (2024).

Cool, airy and notably more complex aromas are comprised by notes of acacia blossom, hazelnut and an array of citrus elements. The succulent but quite punchy medium weight flavours exude evident minerality on the very dry and moderately austere finish. This is quite tightly wound and a wine that should repay up to a decade of cellaring and one that will need at least 4 to 5 years first. 89-91 Burghound (2024).

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0515/1889/8336/files/peter-maude-fine-wines-france-new-zealand-morey-blanc-meursault-blanc_b7beef9a-d0c2-42ba-8727-2d621cc7a131.jpg?v=1729824129
2022-domaine-pierre-morey-meursault-clos-le-meix-tavaux
2022, Domaine Pierre-Morey, MEURSAULT, 'Clos Le Meix Tavaux'

This parcel is situated just above the “les Cloux” stream, facing the hillside of Meix Chavaux, in the heart of the village, where the slope is quite gentle and the soils rocky and well-draining.

Pale yellow, white flowers and a little bitter honeysuckle and citrus.
Interesting and complex expression with a mineral finish.
Jo Charvill, May 2024

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0515/1889/8336/files/peter-maude-fine-wines-france-new-zealand-pierre-morey-meursault-clos-le-meix-tavaux_8cac4fd8-bf97-41de-afae-6a3cf1956e62.jpg?v=1729824140
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0515/1889/8336/collections/Screenshot_2026-07-23_at_4.02.21_pm.png?v=1784779372
